Work With The Best

Rope Access Services South Africa

We specialise in Rope Access Services, Anchor Point Installation and Lifeline Systems for safe work at height across South Africa. Our certified rope access team also delivers signage repair, high-rise maintenance, and telecom tower services for commercial and industrial buildings.

At Rope Access 360 we start by understanding how the roof is used, who works there, and what type of fall protection system will make that work safer and easier.

These examples show how permanent lifeline systems and anchor points help building owners create safer working environments for contractors, maintenance teams, and rope access technicians.

Understanding Lifeline Systems and Anchor Points

When discussing roof safety, two terms appear frequently: anchor points and lifeline systems. Understanding the difference helps explain how buildings create safe working environments at height.

What is an Anchor Point?

A fixed attachment point on a structure (roof, beam, concrete slab). A worker clips their harness to it. It protects a person in a single position. Used for tasks like edge work or rope access rigging.

What is a lifeline system?

A continuous safety cable or rail installed across a roof or structure. Workers attach with a trolley or connector and can move along the roof while remaining protected.

Both are part of fall protection systems used when people work at height. They serve slightly different purposes, but they often work together to create a safe way for workers to move across a roof or elevated structure.
